I will fill you in on the progress
as I have time to post.

I can say one thing right now,
2015 is gonna be GREAT!

Dreaming of a White Christmas

Today is Christmas Eve, and like many of you,
I'm busily preparing for Santa's Big Day!
I have to admit that I'm a little sad our snow is melting. Fast.

Snow or no snow,
I wanted to share with you
the gift I just finished making
my 3 year old niece, Breezy.
Because she loves a picnic, I made her felt play food
to enjoy any time of year.

I've thought about making these templates available
for your use as a free PDF in the sidebar.
If you'd like that, leave me a comment and
I'll gladly make that happen. Thanks!

Sugar cookies and Christmas cookies all set for the hearth tonight.
Here's a hearty breakfast: a short stack of pancakes with a pat of butter, a couple of fried eggs (one not shown) and some crispy bacon.

I really got in to making these for Breezy,
and I hope they give her hours of imaginative play!

Wishing you the happiest of holidays,
and a New Year full adventures for us all!
See you in 2015!

The Stuff of Dreams

Hibernating...Dreaming...Making.
Magic is in the air as change embraces the studio,
and the studio embraces change.

Piles of treasures are heaped throughout,
sparkling and iridescent, or soft like a whisper.
Hand dyed, hand stitched.
Stories of enchantment lie within.
These are the tools of my trade.
In the coming year, exciting offerings will be made.
New work and new workshops -
I think you're really going to like them!

In the mean time, you can bet
there will be holiday cookies and eggnog,
twinkling lights, Christmas music and movies,
and best of all,
special moments with my family and friends.

Here's to a very happy season of gift making and gift giving!
What's your favorite holiday tradition?
I'd love to hear!
